De Hoop Reserve lies just three hours’ drive from Cape Town, along the famous Garden Route.
The 36,000-hectare De Hoop conservation area forms part of a World Heritage Site with rich biodiversity and over 70 kilometres of coastline.
The De Hoop Collection offers a wide range of accommodation, from affordable self-catering cottages to more luxurious cottages and upscale lodges.
The Fig Tree restaurant, dating back to the 1800s, is a warm and welcoming spot, open from 8am to 9pm. Picnic baskets can also be pre-ordered at reception for guests wishing to lunch out in nature.

Opstal Camp, De Hoop Village, Opstal Houses, Equipped Cottages, “Vlei” Cottages, Opstal Manor House, Melkkamer Manor House, Melkkamer Vlei Cottage, Melkkamer Foremans Cottage, Opstal Vlei Suite, Opstal Stable Suite, Otter Suites, Dassie Suite, Fig Tree Suite, and Campsite Rondawels. 

Rooms

Depending on the type of accommodation, the rooms are furnished with double and/or twin beds, and equipped bathrooms.

SPA

A spa is available for you to relax during your stay. 

Activities offered

Whale watching, hiking trails, mountain biking, guided birdwatching walks, marine walks, stargazing, boat cruises, quad bike excursions, a tennis court, swimming pool, pétanque pitch, and many other activities await you.
