Canada’s Far North

A land of exploration

Journey to Canada's Far North

A journey through Canada's Far North is a breath of fresh air. Here, nature reigns with a capital N — vast, glacial, mountainous, spectacular.

Still little visited, these are places charged with passion where the spirit of adventure endures. In the footsteps of early explorers, Canada's Far North offers the chance to discover another land. To meet other peoples and other cultures. The chance to live unique moments amid landscapes without equal.
And contrary to appearances, Canada's Far North is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. Depending on the season and region, you may observe beluga whales, whales, narwhals, thousands of migratory birds... Not to mention the polar bear, Lord of the Arctic.

Whether in a lodge or under a comfortable tent during an arctic expedition, the experience will be nothing short of memorable!

Budget to plan for

A journey of this exceptional nature inevitably comes with a budget to match.
Given the destination’s isolation, access is longer and more complex, both for travellers and suppliers, and consequently everything costs more.
For a week-long trip in a small group, including 4-5 days at a polar camp, plan for a minimum of €10,000 per person. This budget can increase significantly if you wish to visit the Canadian Arctic privately and/or for a longer stay.

Expert advice

The length of your trip will often depend on your budget. Trips to the Arctic generally last a week, up to 10 or 14 days for den emergence viewing.
It can of course be extended with a stay in your arrival city (Ottawa or Winnipeg, for example) or in another part of this vast country.
