Kicheche Bush Camp is a small, intimate camp designed to preserve the spirit of a traditional safari.
The communal areas are simple and elegant: an open lounge, a canvas-covered dining area and outdoor spaces for meals in the bush.
Meals are often taken under the trees or out in the bush, in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere.
The camp follows an eco-friendly approach, keeping its environmental footprint to a minimum.
Nothing superfluous here. Just the essentials, perfectly executed.
Children are accepted from age 6, particularly in the dedicated family tent (walking safaris from age 12).
The experience remains focused on nature and safari, without dedicated facilities, but with a flexible approach depending on the family.
The camp offers six spacious tents with private bathrooms, equipped with hot and cold water.
A family tent is also available, made up of two rooms linked by a shared space, ideal for families.
Each tent provides comfort and privacy, while maintaining total immersion in nature.
Electricity is available and charging points are provided, in keeping with the camp's solar-powered operation.
There are no mosquito nets on the beds, but the tent windows are fitted with mosquito mesh.
Wi-Fi is available in the communal lounge only, not in the tents.
The camp offers 4x4 safaris with some of the most experienced guides in Kenya.
Safaris are flexible, with no strict time limit, allowing for in-depth observation.
Walking safaris, fly camping and total immersion in nature are among the experiences on offer.
Visit the MAA Trust in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, a major project supported by the Kicheche Community Trust, focused on empowering and educating women. Just 10 minutes from the camp, a visit to the Maa Trust is a wonderful opportunity for guests to interact with Maasai women, observe and learn about their beadwork, and discover the Trust's efforts toward wildlife conservation through sustainable community development.
