Built in 1969 by the Rapmund family, Rapmund Guesthouse is a pleasant place to stay while visiting the coast at Swakopmund, located 3 minutes from the town centre, the beach and the museums.
Enjoy a German breakfast overlooking the garden and the sea.
The beach, as well as the heated indoor pool, are just steps from the guesthouse.
You can also stroll or shop in the town centre: right next to the guesthouse is a lively craft market where you can find all kinds of items from South Africa.

The hotel offers 20 en-suite double rooms (4 of them with a direct sea view), 2 family units and 2 luxury suites, all at very reasonable rates.

The rooms, though in different categories, all have an en-suite bathroom with shower and heating, a kettle and a refrigerator.

Activities offered

Numerous activities are on offer in Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, such as boat cruises to see colonies of seals and dolphins, or quad bike and 4x4 excursions through the dunes.
You can also go fishing or skydiving.
