Singita Ebony Safari Lodge was built among giant Knobthorn and Jackalberry trees on the banks of the Sabi River. The lodge pays tribute to the refined luxury of the old colonial era. Its secluded thatched suites represent the height of comfort and elegance, with rooms decorated in a vivid mix of colours and textures, mainly variations on bold reds and orange checks. The décor is warm and evokes the feel of an old country estate - though a quick glance outside is enough to remind you that you're deep in the African bush - with four-poster beds and mosquito netting, sumptuous red and orange fabrics, antique pieces, old photographs and deep armchairs. Layout

The lodge comprises 12 suites, each with its own private plunge pool.
The outdoor pavilion terraces, ideal for dining and relaxing, are suspended over the rivers as if hanging among the trees.

Rooms

The suites are warm and classic, each fitted with a double-sided fireplace, a private pool, an outdoor shower, and a bathroom with a Victorian bathtub and a large shower.

Activities offered

Being able to go off-road means you can get even closer to the “Big Five”, and take photos that will leave your friends in awe. The lodge offers so many ways to observe the wildlife: from the viewing deck with its spectacular views, from your suite, during walking safaris or on guided game drives.
