À vivre

Experienced and beginner divers alike are struck by the biodiversity here. Depending on the season, whale sharks, sailfish, bull sharks, eagle rays… The country captivates for the richness of its cultural heritage and its picture-perfect beaches, but it also draws divers from around the world for the richness of its marine biodiversity, its barrier reef, and cenote diving — a one-of-a-kind experience.
Dos Ojos and Chac Mool are two of the most famous dive sites, but also come and experience the otherworldly realm of Angelita, a cenote where decomposing vegetation forms a cloud of hydrogen sulphide that you'll pass through with the sensation of flying.
