To the north lies the smoking Turrialba volcano, to the south the valley with the town of Turrialba and Lake Angostura, to the east Santa Cruz and the Caribbean, and in the distance to the west, Cerro de La Muerte.

Layout

Guayabo Lodge offers 23 standard rooms and 5 mountain suites designed to give guests the comfort they need while travelling through Costa Rica. All offer panoramic views of Turrialba Volcano or the Turrialba Valley. Owing to the altitude, the temperature is pleasantly cool, and no fan or air conditioning is needed in this area.
Guayabo Lodge also includes a welcoming restaurant decorated in light tones, with a fireplace and superb views over the valley. 

Rooms

Guayabo Lodge offers 23 standard rooms and 5 mountain suites.
Most standard rooms have a balcony with a panoramic view of Turrialba Volcano or the Turrialba valley.
They are fitted with twin, king or queen beds, depending on the standard room type, a table and chairs, attractive private bathrooms with shower and hot water generated by solar panels, hairdryer, and eco-friendly soap and shampoo in the bathroom.

You’ll have plenty to do during your stay thanks to the wide range of activities nearby: rafting, hiking, birdwatching tours, horseback riding, canyoning, Turrialba volcano tours, Irazú volcano tours, Lankester Botanical Garden, cooking classes, the Orosi Valley, cycling, and much more...
