Victoria Falls
The spacious “tents” are set on the banks of one of the world's most famous rivers, the Zambezi. The thatched-roof main lodge is entirely open and makes for the ideal spot to gather and swap stories of adventure with fellow guests, or simply to relax on the vast sofas and loungers. Offering panoramic views over the river and the park, it is not unusual for an elephant or an antelope to wander in and graze nearby.
The dining room, bar, lounge and outdoor deck flow into one another, with a crystal-blue infinity pool at its edge.
A spa, gym classes and a pool are available to guests.
The Victoria Falls River Lodge offers refined cuisine at the heart of the African savannah, just minutes from one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
Each tent is tastefully decorated in ochre tones and fitted with a large double bed. Each has a private bathroom with bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers, a sitting area and a private observation deck from which you can spot, among other species, hippopotamuses.
Family tents have an additional room with bunk beds and a single bed, comfortably accommodating three children. All tents are equipped with mosquito nets, a minibar and fans.
5 Luxury Tents (110 m²):
These luxurious thatched-roof tents are well spaced out and air-conditioned. Built of canvas, glass and wood, each opens onto a private terrace with its own pool.
All Luxury Tented Suites feature a bed larger than king size, a comfortable sitting area, an open-plan bathroom with freestanding bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers. Twin beds can also be arranged.
Each room offers spectacular panoramic views over the Zambezi River and its surroundings.
5 Family Luxury Tents (119 m²):
For families of up to 5, with 3 children under 17.
Guests travelling as a family can enjoy an adjoining tented room with a single bed and bunk bed, or twin beds.
The spacious adjoining bathrooms — with two vanity units, private toilet, indoor and outdoor showers and a private freestanding bathtub — are open-plan and shared, alongside a children’s bathroom with private toilet, single vanity unit and shower. A curtain can be drawn between the bathroom and the main living area for extra privacy when needed.
6 Malachite Tented Suites:
1km downstream from the lodge by boat, 6 new suites offer the perfect retreat for couples, on the banks of the Zambezi.

After an eventful day, unwind at the lodge's Toa Spa on the banks of the Zambezi for a gentle pause. Close your eyes and listen to the water lapping against the riverbank.
Several massage options are available, including back massage, the “African head massage”, or facials. The products used at Victoria Falls River Lodge are all natural, ranging from essential oils to internationally recognised Africology products made from natural ingredients.
The lodge offers, free of charge, several activities including a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River, a 4x4 land cruiser safari exploring the 56,000 hectares of Zambezi National Park by day or night, as well as a guided tour of the Falls (entrance fee payable on site).
For birdwatchers, the park is a paradise, with over 415 bird species recorded.
At extra cost, numerous activities can be arranged: fishing on the Zambezi River, guided walks in Zambezi National Park, helicopter flights over the iconic Victoria Falls, white-water rafting in the breathtaking Batoka Gorge (rapids downstream of Victoria Falls), zip-lining and canopy tours, arts and crafts shopping and historical tours in Victoria Falls town, bungee jumping on the bridge and other bridge activities, guided canoe safaris on the Zambezi River...
