Layout

The main building, which houses the bar and restaurant, sits on raised ground and opens widely onto the sea, making it a particularly pleasant spot.
The cuisine blends international dishes with freshly caught seafood.
Around the main bar is a large, comfortable lounge with a library where guests can relax over a tropical cocktail.
On the beach, a small bar with a counter built from an old wooden dhow is a particularly enjoyable spot.
Decorated in a pure African style typical of Zanzibar, the bungalows (1 or 2 bedrooms) are surrounded by a lush tropical garden and all feature an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony overlooking the garden or the ocean.

Rooms

Kichanga Lodge offers 23 cottages set within tropical gardens.
They are simply but tastefully furnished, in African or Zanzibari style, and feature a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, twin or double beds, mosquito net, fan and minibar.

There are 4 room types:
- 6 Garden Bungalows, with a private terrace tucked away in the vegetation,
- 11 Ocean View Bungalows, set on the hillside, giving panoramic sea views over the gardens,
- some bungalows are Family Bungalows with two interconnecting rooms, ideal for 2 adults and 1 or 2 children,
- 1 Honeymoon Suite set slightly apart, with private access, featuring a large room and a superb sea view,
- 5 Villas, two-storey chalets with a large living room on the ground floor, 2 single alcove beds for children, and an upstairs bedroom with balcony and superb sea view.

Mountain bike and canoe rental, beach volleyball and beach bowling courts, scuba diving and kitesurfing center, dhow cruises and fishing.
