Hoodia Desert Lodge, located 22 km east of Sesriem, is nestled on the banks of the Tsauchab River. Its location is ideal, and the setting in which the lodge is built lends it a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere.

Layout

It comprises 12 thatched-roof bungalows, half tent, half solid structure, and the common areas include a lounge/bar with several small sofa corners, a restaurant arranged around a large central fireplace, a pool and a terrace overlooking the bed of the Tsauchab River, where animals can sometimes be spotted.

Rooms

One of the rare lodges in this region with air conditioning! The bathroom features, in addition to an indoor shower, an outdoor bathtub, very pleasant on hot days!
Each room also has a small terrace offering a view over the river, the mountains or the plains.

Activities offered

4x4 excursion to Sossusvlei with an “Out of Africa”-style picnic on the dunes. Duration: 1 day.

Located within Etosha National Park, 120 km from Outjo, halfway between Namutoni and Okaukuejo, Halali Camp is highly sought-after thanks to its superb waterhole, lit at night, where animals come to drink.
