Layout
Shawandha Lodge has 14 bungalows set within the rainforest. Enjoy the property's private beach or unwind in the loungers beside the pool, whose waterfall was designed to blend seamlessly into the tropical garden.
On site, you'll find a bar and a restaurant serving delicious local dishes. The property offers a tour desk, luggage storage and a dry-cleaning service. You'll also benefit from free on-site parking and wifi access.

Offering a picturesque view over the garden, the parquet-floored rooms feature a sitting area and a large wardrobe. The private bathroom is fitted with a shower and a hairdryer.
Activities offered
Numerous activities are available during your stay:
A canopy tour with 9 aerial platforms and 14 ground platforms, with a total of 2,560 metres of cable.
You can also take a guided hike through the rainforest, where monkeys, sloths, several reptiles, frogs and striking insects are common sights, as well as in the protected Gandoca-Manzanillo wildlife refuge, which extends to the Panama border and shelters a great variety of birds and many other wild species.
You can also visit the Sloth Sanctuary and Rescue Center, visit an indigenous family who will show you how chocolate is made from cacao trees in their yard, or admire a local waterfall.
Other activities available include river and sea kayaking, turtle watching, scuba diving, horseback riding, fishing, white-water rafting...
