Journée libre à Swakopmund

A wide range of activities are available in Walvis Bay (at an additional cost — please ask us):
- morning boat excursion along the desert coastline in search of dolphins and seals, with brunch served on board, including oyster tastings and local sparkling wine;
- quad bike excursion into the desert, with different options available: a ride through the dunes near Swakopmund (more fun-oriented) or an excursion into the Kuiseb Delta to discover the desert and the Topnaar people (more exploratory — morning only);
- morning kayak excursion in Walvis Bay;
- light aircraft flight over the Namib Desert or the Skeleton Coast (afternoon — maximum 5 people per plane);
- 4x4 excursion to discover Sandwich Harbour, combined with the boat excursion — where the dunes meet the sea;
- the option to explore independently with your rental vehicle, or on an organised tour, the Moon Valley and the plains of Welwitschia mirabilis, remarkable “fossil” plants, some of which are over 1,000 years old. Discover Moon Valley, shaped by the Swakop River.

A free, independent visit to Swakopmund is of course also possible.
