A dozen stunning villas on stilts rise above the savannah, surrounded by lush botanical gardens and elegant pools. The owners' remarkable art collection, scattered throughout the estate, enhances the setting further.
Makuti thatched roofs, ethnic objects, teak furniture, fine linens... The suites are decorated in a contemporary style, drawing on colonial-era codes and an ethnic aesthetic updated for today.
The spirit here favours a chic safari experience in harmony with the environment, with a genuine commitment to rainwater management, solar energy, and local, organic produce.
At the table, whether at breakfast at the Paddock House under the gaze of Mount Kenya, during a picnic in the bush, or beneath a canopy of stars, your palate is in for a journey. It's equally pleasant to be served in the privacy of your own villa, as a family or à deux — not to mention the excellent selection of South African wines!
For a perfectly relaxing stay, comfortable sun loungers and cosy daybeds line the pool decks. Communal spaces also include a library, a beautifully stocked bar, as well as a spa and gym.
