The Blue Lagoon is one of the most unique spas in the world, outdoor and geothermally heated. An experience not to be missed in Iceland.
This expanse of water, over 200 metres long, holds six million litres of seawater set within the Icelandic landscape. The water is heated by the island's volcanic activity, at work 2,000 metres below, reaching a temperature of 37 to 39°C — ideal for relaxing, even in the depths of winter.
The water also has healing properties, enriched with mineral salts, silica and blue-green algae.
The site also includes two steam baths, a sauna and a waterfall, alongside relaxation and treatment areas.
