Board a helicopter to fly over one of Iceland’s most imposing glaciers, Langjökull (“long glacier”), which covers 950 km². You can also explore its uninhabited terrain by superjeep.
After taking in this expanse dating back to the ice age, venture into an artificial ice tunnel that burrows 600 m into the glacier at an altitude of 1,200 m. In this one-of-a-kind ice labyrinth, you’ll have a surreal, otherworldly experience, walking nearly 40 m below the surface through a mesmerising interplay of shadow and bluish light.
After exploring this maze, climb back aboard the helicopter and fly to Hveravellir, an Icelandic geothermal site, where you can hike across lava fields or unwind in a hot spring.
