The Eyjafjallajökull and Fimmvörðuháls volcanoes are nearby.
There’s also the famous Golden Circle and its beautiful hiking trails.
The mountain regions of Landmannalaugar, Kjölur and Sprengisandur are easily accessible, and once night falls and the sky clears, the area is ideal for spotting the spectacular northern lights.
The hotel is an hour’s drive from Reykjavík.
