The natural conservation area of Isla Espíritu Santo is a marvel.
From La Paz, it takes about an hour by boat to reach the southern tip of the archipelago. The crossing itself is worth the trip. You'll spot hundreds of birds, schools of mobula rays, dolphins… and even humpback whales breaching at the surface. This place is teeming with wildlife of every kind! The island is also home to a cactus sanctuary. This nature reserve is also an ideal spot for diving.
At the northern tip, Los Islotes, you can swim with the sea lions that live here year-round. A two-hour stop is planned on one of the island's turquoise-water beaches for a picnic and a walk to explore the local flora and fauna.
