Commissioned in 1974, the Ocean Diamond was fully renovated in 2004 to welcome passengers bound for Antarctica and its frozen lands.
At 124 meters long and 16 meters wide, it is an exploration vessel.

Layout

The Ocean Diamond can carry 189 passengers with a crew of 144.
It has 101 elegantly designed cabins and suites, all with outside views, along with expansive common areas, a club lounge, and a spacious restaurant.
A library is also available to guests.

Children are welcome.

Rooms

The cabins all have outside views, en-suite facilities, a flat-screen television and a DVD player.
Single cabins have a double bed, double cabins have a double bed or two twin beds, and triple cabins have a double bed or two twin beds plus a third fold-down berth.

SPA

A massage therapy programme is offered on board.

Activities offered

The ship offers numerous adventure options, as well as onboard features such as sessions with photography instructors.
After a full day of exploration, passengers can relax, browse books or DVDs in the well-stocked polar library, or take in the striking polar scenery from the sunlit observation lounge.
Also on offer: Zodiac cruising (included), snowshoeing and hiking (included), or optional kayaking (extra charge).
