This exquisite 16th-century colonial mansion, believed to be one of the first Spanish constructions in Cuzco, is located near what is now the city's picturesque central square. Once occupied by the conquistadors, it is now a boutique hotel, carefully restored while preserving its character and the patina of the successive historical episodes of its decor.

Layout

After being carefully restored by Inkaterra over five years, with its original architecture preserved, Inkaterra La Casona reflects the meeting of cultures and traditions across the centuries. Set around the main courtyard, its eleven suites feature fireplaces, heated floors and very large bathtubs. Its rooms are decorated with colonial furniture, pre-Columbian textiles and original wall paintings.

The Plaza Suites are fitted with king or twin beds and a dining area for 2 with a stone fireplace. These exclusive suites have a large marble bathroom with double basins, a bathtub, a separate shower and toilet, Inkaterra handmade special toiletries, luxurious towels and a double closet.
