À vivre

One of Étendues Sauvages' core principles is to let you live your dreams at the heart of nature.
With a mobile tented safari, this ideal has never felt closer.
The sense of communion with nature is immense, and proximity to the animals genuinely real.
Here, no barriers, no artifice. There is nature. And you.

The camps are set up by our team in exclusive locations — sites untouched by any human presence before your arrival, and just as untouched after your departure.
Whether in Moremi Reserve, on the fringes of the Okavango Delta, in the Khwai concession, at Savuti or near the Chobe river, the principle never changes: you live at nature's own pace, sharing this exceptional experience with your companions — and only them, if you choose a private safari.
All in surprising comfort. Spacious tents with a double bed, comfortable mattress, cosy duvet, hot water bottles for winter nights... Private shower and toilet so you never need to leave your tent. A delicious campfire dinner prepared by our chef, enjoyed beneath the African sky and the Milky Way lighting up your evening.
More than an experience. An unforgettable moment.

Please note:
Tents measuring 4m x 4m (comfortable bed, blankets and pillows provided).
Shower room of 3m x 3m with adjoining toilet.
Non-participatory safari: a team sets up and takes down camp, and a cook prepares all meals.
Picnic lunches while on the move, and dinner each evening at camp.

Seasons

Our seasonal advice

The most important factor is designing a mobile camping safari itinerary around the rainy season, which has become increasingly unpredictable in Africa. While the very dry period between May and October poses no particular constraints, certain regions are best avoided during the austral summer, between December and March, as some tracks can quickly become impassable and make the journey distinctly... uncomfortable!
