Located on Sri Lanka's east coast in the Batticaloa district, at Pasikudah, Uga Bay offers sweeping views over the beach and bay.
Uga Bay blends tropical and Mediterranean architecture to create a striking centrepiece in the stunning bay of Pasikudah. The semi-circular design offers ocean views from the 46 studios, the Bay Suite and the Beach Villa. From the entrance, the infinity pool merges dramatically into the sea.

Layout

Uga Bay offers 46 studios, one Bay suite and one Bay villa.
For meals, you'll find cabanas by the pool, a barbecue on the beach, or you can dine in your studio. You'll have the chance to taste the day's catch, supporting local traditions and the local economy.
An infinity pool and a fitness centre are also available.

Rooms

All studios, the suite and the villa offer sweeping views over the Indian Ocean.
The 22 Ocean Studios have a sweeping view from the second floor.
The 24 Beach Studios offer direct beach access from the ground floor.
A two-bedroom “Bay Suite” and a two-bedroom “Beach Villa” are also available.

SPA

Relax, recharge and be pampered in two spa suites overlooking the Indian Ocean. The Uga Bay spa offers numerous treatments, from Swedish and Balinese massages to a range of personalised facials.

Activities offered

Travel back in time visiting the ruins of Polonnaruwa or the wrecks of the Second World War. Enjoy jet-skiing, kayaking or windsurfing. Explore coral reefs by snorkelling, dive into wrecks, or discover the cultural and historical sites near Batticaloa or the ancient UNESCO World Heritage sites at Polonnaruwa.
