Discover the Viñales Valley by bike, along 25 kilometres of reddish dirt tracks running through several valleys dotted with the famous mogotes, the blunt-topped mountain formations distinctive to the Viñales Valley. Along the way you'll meet farmers working the valley, growing tobacco, cassava, and various fruits.
Meet your guide at your accommodation and walk to the spot known as Balcon de la Ermita to collect the bikes:
A mix of roads and dirt trails
A loop around the “Dos Hermanas” mogote along the trail.
Ride from the village to the Mural de la Prehistoria.
Along the way, a visit to the “Penitencia” lookout.
A halfway break at a farmer's home, with a snack of fruit, coffee, or tea.
Still skirting the mogote, an explanation of the social organisation of the countryside.
Return towards Viñales.
