Activities offered by the lodge include guided sea kayaking on protected waters (from short outings to half-day excursions), hiking (from interpretive walks to full-day treks), and group canoe trips.

Each day offers a variety of activities to suit your interests and energy level. Kayak or paddle a large canoe to a glacier and wander among glittering pieces of ice.
You can also join a guide for a hike across glacial moraines, discover the fascinating Alutiiq indigenous culture, and walk miles of pristine pebble beaches.

Whatever activity you choose, observing the exceptional wildlife is a key part of the lodge experience. By boat, watch calving glaciers up close and keep an eye out for Steller sea lions, sea otters, Dall’s porpoises, humpback whales, orcas, bald eagles, puffins, and a host of other birds.
