Al Waha is the largest of the three hotels at Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa.
Al Waha’s architecture is traditional Dhofari, originating from the southern region of Oman. Nestled at the foot of a mountain range, vehicle access is made possible through a man-made tunnel.

Layout

Comprising 262 rooms, each room has a balcony or terrace of 5 m² offering a sea view or sea-facing views.
The name Al Waha means “The Oasis” and was designed so that the hotel’s many pools form an oasis incorporating numerous date palms.
Several restaurants and a bar are available for meals and snacks.

Rooms

Richly furnished, the sumptuous rooms and suites reflect Arab style at its finest. Most rooms offer an extraordinary view over the azure sea of Oman.
The en-suite bathrooms have a bathtub and/or bathing area, where you can relax in sophisticated comfort.
