À vivre

A journey accompanied by French-speaking guides through the fjords that inspired Charles Darwin. The itinerary largely retraces the route through the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago made in 1830 by the renowned English naturalist aboard the HMS Beagle — a voyage that led him to write “The Origin of Species” and develop the theory of evolution. Departing from Punta Arenas, you will sail the Strait of Magellan to visit the penguin colonies on the Tucker Islets and observe the abundant wildlife of Ainsworth Bay.  You will then follow the Beagle Channel  to Pía Glacier and the Avenue of the Glaciers. The ship will stop at the historic Wulaia Bay and at the legendary Cape Horn, where you can take an excursion along the coast of Magdalena Island to see its large penguin colony.
