À vivre

A 7-day Amazon cruise, in full immersion with indigenous culture and wildlife. Meet the Tuka people, swim with pink river dolphins, and navigate the black waters of the Solimões River as far as Anavilhanas National Park.
At the farthest point of the journey, you will travel along the Jaú River, where the largest freshwater forest park in the world has yet to give up all its secrets. Due to its relatively difficult access, its trails, waterfalls, and coves remain rarely visited. Monkeys, sloths, dolphins, lowland pacas, and birds can be observed during nights spent in the jungle or on the river at sunset.
During the dry season, giant otters are the main draw. The park’s river network is made up of 3 major rivers (the Unini to the north, the Carabinani to the south, and the Jaú at its centre) and countless smaller dark-water streams. These rivers undergo significant variation in water volume throughout the year. The forests along the riverbanks, known as Igapó forests, are flooded for a period of 6 to 8 months each year. The dry forests are known as firm-ground forests. This is typical rainforest, with trees reaching over 35 metres in height, such as the Samaúma. Its diversity amounts to 200 species per hectare.
