À vivre

Take part in camp life during a total immersion in the wild!
The camp is mainly set up in wilderness areas, parks and nature reserves (unless otherwise stated), entirely wild and unfenced, with no fixed structures or facilities.
You will help the staff pitch and strike your tent, as well as carry your luggage.

Dome tents measuring 2.1 x 2.1 x 1.75m, shared bush toilets and a shared shower, 5cm mattresses without a camp bed (extra mattress available on request - additional charges apply).

A shared shower tent is set up, along with a mobile kitchen and dining area.
You must bring your own drinks, sleeping bags and pillows (rental available).
Participants must bring their own drinks. Tea, coffee and filtered water are provided free of charge at camp. Participants must bring their own water bottle.

Safari vehicles can carry up to 12 people.
They have plexiglass side windows: usually fully removed and stored at the back for better wildlife viewing, they can be slid into place on either side if it is cold or rainy.
The canvas roof and windscreen can be folded down for better viewing opportunities.
Four rows at the back can seat 16 people, but the safari is limited to 12 people for semi-participatory trips, allowing for greater comfort and optimal viewing opportunities.
The vehicles have a fridge under the first row for cold drinks at any time, as well as a power outlet for recharging camera batteries during the safari.
There is no partition between the driver, who is also the guide, and the passengers, allowing a constant flow of communication to make the most of the experience in these wild environments and to learn as much as possible about the places, wildlife and flora.

For luggage, we recommend a large backpack (preferably a backpack or a soft-sided bag). Do not bring hard-shell suitcases, as they are very difficult to stow in trailers and can cause problems for any light aircraft flights you may take as part of your safari. Semi-rigid suitcases should also be avoided.
In addition to your main luggage, you may bring a hand bag (such as a small backpack), with room for it at your feet.

Main luggage: maximum weight = 12kg, maximum size = 700mm x 350mm x 350mm
The sleeping bag may be carried separately from the main luggage.

If you are heading into the Delta, we ask that you only bring what you need for 2/3 nights in a smaller bag. You can leave your large bag with the vehicle, which will be locked in a secure area while you stay on a small island, with transfers made by traditional dugout canoes (mokoro).

Sleeping bag (note that nights can be cool year-round and cold in winter, so a warm sleeping bag is recommended). A sleeping bag and small pillow can be rented (EUR 20 for the duration of the safari, please book in advance).
