In a single week, you will sail in the wake of early explorers through the pack ice to the 80th parallel north, following Spitsbergen's west coast and watching for as much wildlife as possible. Though this rocky island is covered in mountains and glaciers, its towering cliffs and fjords shelter an extraordinarily varied and thriving ecosystem. Exploring most of the region gives you a chance to spot the most iconic of Arctic animals, the polar bear.
The Arctic has inspired explorers for centuries, and our expeditions give you the opportunity to understand their fascination with this region of the world.

Stops, landings and zodiac outings depend on weather conditions, ice position, winds and sea state. These factors may at any time require the Captain or expedition leader to cancel or interrupt an activity, or even to completely alter the itinerary. The final route will be confirmed by the ship's Captain, whose priorities are the quality of the experience and passenger safety. The decision will comply with that of the relevant authorities.
