The hotel sits right on the waterfront, on one of the most idyllic beaches of the Ceará coast, in the municipality of Trairi. Surrounded by natural beauty — dunes, coconut palms, an almost deserted white-sand beach, warm waters and calm natural pools at low tide — it offers the most discerning guests a setting of tranquillity and privacy.
The region’s many charms caught the attention of Indian investor Sumeet Dhillon, who chose to invest in the property. The owner built on the concepts of exclusivity, gracious living and hospitality that inspired the hotel’s name. The Indian word Zorah transcends borders, conveying balance, strength and perseverance.
The project was designed with expansive spaces, references to Indian architecture and Asian touches, combined with the tropical climate. Built in a unique, privileged location on the western coast of Ceará, it is grounded in ecological sustainability, respect for local culture and social development, with harmony with nature always placed at its core. The spaces offer warmth and intimacy, paired with refinement and absolute comfort.
Gastronomy is a key highlight of the hotel. From the outset, Zorah Beach called on the expertise of various chefs, including Indian chefs, to develop the full menu. The cuisine has a contemporary touch, giving priority to local ingredients alongside Asian dishes.
The restaurant offers a delicious blend of contemporary cuisine, local dishes and Indian flavours prepared in a tandoor oven.
