Pousada BGK

Pousada BGK is located in the state of Piauí, in Barra Grande, a village on the Brazilian coast that, thanks to its difficult access, has preserved its splendid natural setting and the authentic atmosphere of a former fishing village. It stands right on the sea, on a long and beautiful white-sand beach, between two major national parks: Jericoacoara and Lençóis Maranhenses.

This unpretentious pousada has a great deal of charm. It is built using exotic materials sourced from the region. Within the beautifully tended, flower-filled grounds, shaded by palm trees, the bungalows stand on stilts, pleasantly decorated and overlooking the sea. The atmosphere is relaxed.

Simplicity and tranquillity make Barra Grande’s appeal. As the locals do, you let time pass by, listening to birdsong in the shade of century-old mango trees.
