The hotel has a restaurant offering a unique view over the Westman Islands and the south coast, as well as a lounge bar with views of the famous Eyjafjallajökull subglacial volcano and the magnificent surrounding mountains. Next to the hotel, the Svaðbælisá river flows peacefully. The starry sky and the Northern Lights are sure to leave an impression on everyone during the winter months.

Rooms

The UMI hotel offers 28 elegantly designed rooms built around nature and comfort. You will find double rooms and twin rooms with private bathroom, overlooking either the mountains or the ocean.
Free WiFi is available in all rooms and communal areas. Buffet breakfast is included.
A fitness kit is available for guests in their room. Please ask for it at the front desk. The kit includes a yoga mat, straps, a roller, etc.
Toiletries are locally sourced and include organic soaps and creams from the Sóley Cosmetics brand.
