The lodge has a terrace overlooking the river as well as a campfire area, where you can relax while toasting marshmallows.
The Long House has a bar, a “chill out” space to unwind after a busy day of fun, and a kitchen where chef Bandula prepares a delicious selection of Sri Lankan rice and curry, often praised as the best guests have tasted during their stay in Sri Lanka, as well as more Western dishes for those wanting a break from rice and curry. Meals can be adapted for guests with dietary restrictions and allergies.
The Long House is fully equipped with wifi.
Free filtered water is available at the Long House throughout your stay.

Rooms
All the cabins along the riverbank are thatch-roofed, guaranteeing a dry stay at all times. The comfortable cabins are equipped with twin beds (which can be converted into double beds), quality linen, bedside tables and lamps, as well as a private terrace offering a spectacular view of the Kelani River. All cabins are also fitted with mosquito nets. They are ideal for families and can accommodate a family of three to five people.
All accommodation is equipped with power outlets for charging electrical devices such as laptops, phones and cameras. The cabins do not have private bathrooms, but the sanitary block is divided into two separate sections: men's and women's. Showers have hot water. The water is safe for brushing teeth, but should not be drunk, as it is untreated. A refreshing alternative to a shower is a bath in the river. Whenever possible, please bring biodegradable products to help protect the surrounding nature.
Activities offered
Borderlands keeps all its water sports equipment on site so it can be properly maintained. In addition to kayaks and rafts, this includes all on-site safety equipment, such as life jackets, paddle vests and helmets for all ages and sizes.
