An elegant hotel in a prime location at the heart of the city. The restored manor house is striking from every angle, honouring the fascinating blend of indigenous and European cultures that shapes this region, from its architecture to its cuisine.

Layout

Set in a former manor house near the main square of the colonial town of Salta, the hotel comprises eleven rooms each dedicated to a different national hero. While the Legado Mitico hotel in Buenos Aires focuses on political figures and cultural icons, the Salta property turns to the region's indigenous history, naming its rooms after indigenous tribes and gauchos.

From the neighbouring Atacama Desert to the Salta region, the Andean region (Altiplano), and the tropical Misiones region (around the Iguazú Falls) in the northeast, the period from April to October — cooler and drier than the summer months — is the most favourable. It is very hot and rainy from December to March in Iguazú and Salta. Certain areas, particularly in the northwest around Cafayate or Tucumán province, see temperatures reach 45°C. It snows in the Andes between July and August.
