Marianne Estate is a charming guesthouse located among the vineyards between Stellenbosch and Paarl, on the Wine Route. It sits quite literally in the middle of the vines on the slope of the Simonsberg mountain. The scenery is stunning.

Beyond being a guesthouse, the property is fully equipped to produce fine, artisanal wines. Drawing on their French roots, the owners strive to apply French winemaking know-how while retaining a touch of South Africa.

Rooms

Marianne guesthouse consists of a large house typical of Cape Dutch architecture, with 5 rooms including a family apartment. The house is a 5-minute walk from the cellar and tasting room, and has a pool with panoramic views, a games room and 2 terraces. It can be booked as a private rental.

There are also 4 lofts located at the heart of the Marianne estate. They face the cellar and look out towards Table Mountain. Each has its own distinct style, with an en-suite bathroom and a living room.

Finally, the luxurious Villa l’Ermitage, also set among the vines, offers 7 rooms with stunning views as well as a pool.

Activities offered

During your stay, you can enjoy tours of the estate’s vineyards by bike or 4x4, excursions along the wine route, and blending workshops where you can create your own wine, among other activities…
