Stepping through the doors of 55TG, you are greeted by an eclectic atmosphere that makes you forget you’re in the city of Colombo. There are jackfruit trees whose leaves seem to rustle a greeting in the breeze, the sound of birds, soft light playing across the ripples of the pool, and the curious welcome of two resident dogs waiting at the entrance. You might even be lucky enough to meet a bride-to-be adorned in silk, sequins and gold, smiling for the camera.

Inside, you’ll discover sculptures, paintings, antiques and ephemera spanning decades of Sri Lankan history, showcasing the work of artists from across the island and beyond. Past and present collide beautifully in this private collection, and every piece has a story to tell – making 55TG a haven for art lovers.

55TG has a garden, an outdoor pavilion, and a lounge.
