Breakers is a charming Bed & Breakfast offering genuine New Zealand hospitality and panoramic sea views. 
The Coast Road was ranked among the top ten coastal roads in the world by Lonely Planet. Breakers hotel is close to the Paparoa Track and the West Coast Wilderness Trail, as well as numerous other hiking trails and cycling tracks. It is an ideal spot to relax and soak up the seafront atmosphere, with a remote surf beach opposite, enjoy the song of native birds and be lulled by the sound of breaking waves. 
Breakers hotel sits on two hectares of native bush and landscaped gardens overlooking the Tasman Sea. Plenty of outdoor seating allows guests to sit back, relax and enjoy the sea view. A private path leads down to the beach.

The Breakers Boutique Accommodation offers a relaxed breakfast, enjoyed with sea views from the communal dining room. There are continental and cooked options to suit every palate. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Outdoor evening meals are also available for an additional charge.

Wifi is available throughout the property. It can sometimes be intermittent, but is generally very good - and it is free.

Breakers hotel has a lounge reserved for guests, with large comfortable sofas and a selection of films. Guests can enjoy films in their room on their laptop or with the portable DVD player, subject to availability. The hotel also has an extensive selection of books, including information on New Zealand, its history, flora and fauna. Board games are also available on request.

Plenty of secure off-street parking is available. The garden outbuilding has a covered carport.

Rooms

Breakers Boutique Accommodation has four rooms, all with fantastic sea views. Two of the rooms are located upstairs in the main house and two others are in the annexe building set in the garden. Guests can lie in bed, watch the breakers and be lulled by the sound of the waves. All rooms are tastefully decorated — a touch of luxury, warmth and hospitality — and feature a private bathroom, full bedding, ironing facilities, a hairdryer, hot drink-making facilities with a small refrigerator, and access to an outdoor balcony.
