Traditional Icelandic breakfast is served in the café of the “Vogafjos” cowshed, a three-minute walk from the guesthouse. During breakfast, you can watch the cows being milked (starting around 7:30am) and even taste fresh, warm milk straight from the cow.

Spread across three charming wooden houses, the 24 rooms at Vogafjós Guesthouse offer a warm, comfortable setting in harmony with the surrounding nature. Simply and carefully decorated, they all have a private bathroom. The property offers 20 classic rooms and 4 superior double rooms, inviting rest and relaxation after a day exploring the spectacular landscapes of Mývatn.

Activities offered

For an additional fee, you can relax in the geothermal waters of the nearby Myvatn Nature Baths, which cover 5,000 m². The guesthouse also runs a farm with animals such as cows, sheep and horses.
