The “Game Package” is a type of safari formula in Kenya that differs from a private-guide touring safari. With a game package, it is the camps or lodges themselves that organise the safaris, using their own team of expert guides and their own fleet of 4x4 vehicles.
Your days will therefore be structured around 2 daily safaris in a 4x4 shared with other lodge guests (generally a maximum of 4 to 6 people per vehicle, depending on the lodge), which can sometimes lead to great encounters and shared moments. Offered in the morning and late afternoon, at the times most favourable for wildlife observation, you can enjoy your free time and the lodge’s facilities (pool, spa) between the two safaris.
What’s more, your English-speaking guide is an expert in local fauna and flora and will be able to answer all your questions, making your safaris rich in learning and knowledge.
Some lodges offer the option of private safaris free of charge, while others charge a supplement to privatise them.
