Pantanal Lodge continually improves the quantity and quality of wildlife observation. Two observation towers are easily accessible, one near the Jabiru nest and the other in a gallery forest on the riverbank, offering an outstanding view of canopy birds.
Capuchin monkeys and howler monkeys can also be seen near this observation tower.
A 4-km network of trails gives access to the tall gallery forest, rich in monkeys and birds — the rarest and most species-rich habitat in the Pantanal, with birds in abundance.
Just 400 metres from the lodge, you can observe ocelots, visible on 80% of evenings on natural lianas, in full light, just a few metres away.
Boat excursions on the Pixaim River are also offered. You will observe an abundance of birds, caimans, capybaras, giant otters and sometimes jaguars. Private outings for jaguar photography are also available (optional, at an additional cost).
