The restaurant
Combining fresh, quality produce sourced mainly from local markets, the Bolaven farms and its own organic garden, La Folie Lodge’s menu offers cuisine ranging from traditional Lao dishes to Western classics. The open-air restaurant, set beside the pool, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner beneath a striking wooden-tiled roof. Snacks are also available throughout the day by the pool. For a more romantic setting, we suggest dining under the stars on the garden terrace.

The bar
Flavourful cocktails, fresh fruit juices, local teas and coffees, imported wines or simply a refreshing Lao Beer: you’ll find everything you need to quench your thirst at the Lodge bar. The bar sits beneath the famous wooden elephant sculpture, crafted by skilled local artisans, within the poolside restaurant. The garden terrace or pool area are the perfect spots to enjoy a drink while taking in a magnificent sunset. In the evening, a cosy lounge corner awaits next to the boutique, with a selection of magazines and books.

Dinner under the stars
During the dry season, from November to May, the wide beach in front of the Lodge offers a unique opportunity to dine under the stars.

Experience “Sindat”, a combination of fondue and barbecue cooked directly at your table, served with a homemade broth, platters of meat, seafood and vegetables, noodles and homemade dipping sauces.

Rooms

Spacious, the rooms include air conditioning, a fan, a safe and a balcony. Their private bathroom is fitted with a shower.
