Cruises and Yachting
Croisières et Yachting
With its two Zodiacs, you set off to discover the wilderness, landing in remote villages or exploring breathtaking natural landscapes. The M/S Balto is truly unique among small polar expedition ships. Travelling aboard this 12-passenger vessel means experiencing Greenland in an intimate way, far removed from the large cruise ships.
A small group of 12 allows for great flexibility, unique itineraries, and more time spent ashore. It also leaves a much lighter environmental footprint. The M/S Balto is designed to explore the most remote fjords, visit Inuit villages, reach isolated anchorages, and offer each guest total immersion in preserved nature.
The passenger deck houses a small sauna with a cold shower. The richly decorated lounge and elegant dining room feature flamed mahogany panelling, a bar, a library, and tea and coffee stations. Several outdoor decks, open or semi-covered, allow you to take in the spectacular Arctic scenery. The international crew offers a warm welcome, and the bridge is open to visitors.
