Lulea
The main pavilion, a log cabin at the heart of the estate, brings together the restaurant, lounges and relaxation areas, a natural meeting point between two expeditions. Around it are arranged 15 individual cabins, tipis and several sauna and relaxation cabins, each facing the surrounding nature.
In summer, a sandy beach and a small harbour open onto the archipelago, to explore by boat or kayak. In winter, this same jetty becomes the starting point for adventures on the frozen sea, including the Pack Ice Snowmobile Safari, the lodge's signature experience.
A sober, well-designed whole, which puts the essentials where they belong: outside.
The 15 cabins are arranged around the main lodge, all facing the sea and the Luleå archipelago. Recently renovated, they offer refined comfort without breaking with the spirit of the place.
Each includes two bedrooms with single beds, a living room, a bathroom and a covered porch from which the view over the water asserts itself from the first morning light. A functional, well thought-out space, suited to couples and small groups alike.
From their porches, the cabins naturally extend the relationship with the outdoors, whatever the season.
Brändön Lodge is first and foremost a starting point — toward the archipelago in summer, toward the frozen sea in winter. The surrounding territory lends itself to a wide range of experiences, all rooted in the reality of the far North.
Dog sledding, snowmobiling on the ice, northern lights viewing, encounters with Sami culture: the activities on offer are exactly what travellers come to the boreal regions for, experienced here in an authentic, unspoiled setting.
In summer, the archipelago is explored by boat or kayak, with the midnight sun offering unique conditions to enjoy the landscape late into the evening.
Each season has its own possibilities. Each stay, its own experience.
