Set away from the bustle of Nairobi, Palacina The Residence & The Suites is tucked at the end of the quiet Kitale Lane, in the State House area. A discreet, almost secret address, designed as a pause before or after a safari in Kenya.
This 5-star boutique hotel cultivates an intimate atmosphere, far removed from the standardised feel of large hotels. Spacious suites, elegant apartments, gardens and calm, light-filled spaces come together to form an urban retreat where Kenyan hospitality remains at the forefront.
Palacina also holds a concrete, genuine commitment to responsible practices.
The restaurant favours a “farm-to-fork” approach, built around local, seasonal produce. Local wood, natural fibres and handcrafted furniture celebrate Kenyan craftsmanship.

Layout

Palacina blends the intimacy of a boutique hotel with the comfort of a private residence. The property features eight Palacina Suites, including two Penthouse Suites, as well as seven Studio Kitchenettes of over 50 m². These are complemented by several categories of Executive apartments and one- to three-bedroom residences.

At the heart of the property, the Palacina Bistro opens its terrace onto the garden. A Terrace Bar and room service round out the offering.
To slow down, there are two pools: a heated indoor lap pool and an outdoor pool reserved for residents.
A fitness room, wellness spaces and private lounges extend this sense of urban refuge.

For your children

Children are welcome at Palacina.
Extra beds or cots are available in certain categories, on request, subject to availability.

Rooms

Here, space is a luxury.
Palacina offers eight suites of more than 70 m², including two Penthouse Suites reaching 150 m², with a living room, bedroom, dressing room and private balcony. Seven Studio Kitchenettes offer more than 50 m². For greater independence, the Executive apartments have one to three bedrooms, separate living areas and equipped kitchens.
Some residences are specifically designed for extended stays.
Throughout, the approach remains consistent: generous volumes, carefully considered decor and the feeling of living in Nairobi rather than merely staying there.

SPA

Palacina offers a genuine wellness retreat at the heart of Nairobi. Its wellness area includes a large heated indoor pool, a sauna and dedicated massage spaces. A fitness room completes the offering, while a second outdoor pool simply invites you to slow down between stages of the journey.

Activities offered

Palacina is above all a place to catch your breath.
Swimming in the large heated indoor pool or the outdoor pool, a session in the fitness room, sauna or massage punctuate quiet hours. The fitness room is free of charge for residents and guests. The pools are reserved exclusively for them.
To discover Nairobi beyond this peaceful bubble, the hotel can also arrange, on request and for an additional charge, private transfers to the airport or around the city.
