MONTREAL
Your journey begins in the Old Port district, at a boutique hotel full of character.

Montréal, Ville de Montréal, Canada

Ville de Montréal, Canada

Montréal

In Montreal, tradition and dynamism are one and the same: cosmopolitan yet welcoming, Quebec's largest metropolis is a blend of cultures, flavours and stories coming to life in a relaxed atmosphere. A small French colony founded in 1642 once stood on the site of present-day Old Montreal, a district where you can take the pulse of a historic past. In the Old Port, among fashion boutiques, trendy restaurants, microbreweries and wine bars, Place d'Armes — home to the statue of the city's founder, Paul de Chomedey — and Place Jacques-Cartier preserve the city's foundations.

From the top of Mont Royal, which rises serenely right in the city centre, Montreal unfolds at your feet. Beyond downtown, the city as a whole, renowned for its open-mindedness, is a mosaic of neighbourhoods with varied architecture and influences: Chinatown, the Latin Quarter and the Village make Montreal, above all, a city of distinct boroughs.

JACQUES-CARTIER NATIONAL PARK
30 minutes from Quebec City, you’ll find a vast mountainous plateau carved by deep valleys. This national park is home to one of Quebec’s most beautiful glacial valleys, the spectacular Jacques-Cartier Valley, where a river winds, by turns calm and turbulent. On the high plateaus, conifer forest dominates, while broadleaf trees take hold deep in the valley floors. A landscape that inspires, and radiates calm.
You’ll spend 2 nights at the heart of this preserved nature, in an EXP chalet: original architecture, comfort, and close contact with nature combine for a memorable EXPerience. Picture a glass-walled dwelling that lets the outdoors permeate the interior, so you always feel slightly outside…
You’ll also set off on a 3-hour hike with a naturalist guide.

SAGUENAY FJORD
Grandiose, exceptionally beautiful landscapes define Saguenay Fjord National Park. Here you’ll grasp the sheer scale of time and space, in a place where colossal natural forces carved out a fjord. The starkness of the fjord’s landscapes softens at the natural havens cut into its coastline. With the rhythm of the tides, the gentle shores of its bays and coves reveal and conceal themselves.
You’ll experience this remarkable region from an authentic pourvoirie overlooking the fjord, and take a kayak excursion on the water, amid breathtaking panoramas.

LES ESCOUMINS
The Tadoussac region is synonymous with beluga whales, rorquals, and orcas. It was also the first fur-trading post on the St. Lawrence River. Located at the confluence of the Saguenay Fjord and the St. Lawrence estuary, in one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Tadoussac’s marina is a refuge accessible at all times. You’ll stay in the town of Les Escoumins, 40 km north of Tadoussac along the St. Lawrence, away from the crowds. Your comfortable condo (the Québécois term for apartment) sits on Innu territory, an Indigenous community present here for over 10,000 years, with a spectacular view over the St. Lawrence. You’ll also head out by zodiac to observe whales feeding not far from shore.

CHARLEVOIX
You’ll stay deep in the Charlevoix forest for a fresh experience in nature, at a unique contemporary eco-lodge. On your free day, visit local food and craft producers on a gourmet e-bike ride. Taste regional products while taking in the pastoral landscapes of this remarkable corner of the country.

Charlevoix

QUEBEC CITY
You’ll stay at a charming, comfortable inn at the heart of Old Quebec.

La ville de Québec

A UNESCO World Heritage city, Québec City is the cradle of French civilisation in North America. Its narrow, cobbled streets, which have witnessed 400 years of history, give off a European charm, also found in the old churches and stone houses that make this six-times-besieged city an architectural gem. The Plains of Abraham, the Château Frontenac, the Dufferin Terrace overlooking the Saint Lawrence River — these are just some of Québec City's many historic, cultural and natural attractions.
A few minutes from this city, surrounded by landscapes of great beauty where nature is striking in every season, you can kayak on the Saint Lawrence or cross a suspension bridge above Montmorency Falls, 80 metres high.
All in all, Québec City is the result of a fusion between Old World traditions and an incredible outdoor playground.

THE EASTERN TOWNSHIPS
Largely unknown to French travelers, this region nonetheless has everything going for it: from towns to villages, from coffee shops to the table of a great chef, from craftwork to rock concerts, from climbing to spa stays, you’ll find something to satisfy every taste. Lose yourself in its larger-than-life spaces. Venture into its parks, climb its mountains, dive into its lakes, and let yourself be lulled by the quiet of the place. Meet its artisans, producers, and shopkeepers. Discover villages rich with a surprising, turbulent history!
End your journey in style at an elegant lakeside Relais & Châteaux manor. Relaxation and disconnection are the order of the day for these final two days. Recharge before heading home!
