MOUNT KENYA – OL PEJETA
After a first night in Nairobi, you will meet your French-speaking driver/guide and set off in your private 4×4 to a beautiful family-run property at the foot of Mount Kenya, in the northern region of the Kenyan highlands.
Known for its personalised service, superb setting, quality horses, relaxed atmosphere and location between Samburu, Ol Pejeta and Lewa, this address offers a fine introduction to the country, and its position is ideal for reaching the surrounding hills and conservation areas, including the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, renowned for its wildlife density.
Here, every guest is welcomed as part of the family, with full freedom to explore the surrounding land, for a stay in the open air, at the heart of magnificent landscapes.
A wide range of activities is on offer: exploring the property on horseback, wonderful walks along the river and through the bush, visits to the remarkable gardens, and time spent on the superb poolside terrace watching elephants and giraffes wander through the reserve bordering the property.
For your children’s enjoyment:
Young Farmer’s Club (for children aged 5 to 14), cow milking, vegetable and flower picking, bird watching, farm walks, badminton/croquet, unguided community walks, school visits (depending on the day), poolside relaxation, riding lessons, full-day community walks from the farm, day excursions to Ngare Ndare, and safari days (Solio, Lolldaiga, Ol Pejeta, Samburu).
Safaris with your private guide in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy promise memorable wildlife encounters.
