The spirit of the journey

Welcome to a postcard-perfect setting, far from the bustle of Cancun. Isla Holbox is an island off the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. The Caribbean and the Atlantic meet in clear, warm waters that attract whale sharks, dolphins and sea turtles. It is also home to an impressive colony of flamingos...

Soft white sand beaches, turquoise waters, fine sandy streets and small wooden houses set the scene for your stay.

Its inhabitants live from fishing and have developed an ecotourism economy: no cars on Holbox, only golf carts, mopeds, bicycles and walking to get around the island. No banks, no ATMs...

As you can see, Isla Holbox is a rare place where nature reigns.

Upon arrival in Cancun, your private driver takes you to Chiquila at the northern tip of the peninsula, where you board the boat to reach Holbox.

Immersed in nature, ecotourism and whale sharks, Ser Casasandra welcomes you for 6 nights.

Ser Casasandra

A hidden address set on the sand which, behind its tall traditional wood-and-white façades, invites a return to simplicity. To design this artist's house, Sandra Pérez (owner, painter and Cuban poet) drew her inspiration simply from the magic of Holbox — the women weaving their hammocks, the fishermen their nets, and the natural beauty of the place.
