MANYARA
After a night in Arusha, fly to Lake Manyara National Park — this is where the adventure begins. You find yourself at the edge of Lake Manyara, refuge to thousands of birds.
The park is notably known for its “tree-climbing lions” and its impressive numbers of pelicans and flamingos.
Inside Manyara National Park, in the shade of a mahogany forest, &BEYOND Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is set in a little-visited environment, unlike the northern part of the park. The welcome shade of the mahogany forest brings both privacy and coolness.
The ten treehouses, hidden among centuries-old trees, blend completely into the surrounding forest.
Safaris are conducted in the lodge’s shared 4×4 vehicles (with English-speaking drivers), and night safaris are available here.
Walks led by a Maasai guide are also offered.

NGORONGORO CRATER
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this natural amphitheatre, 20 km in diameter, is undoubtedly the world’s most famous wildlife reserve — a remarkable reservoir of wildlife.
Set on the walls of the ancient caldera, &BEYOND Ngorongoro Crater Lodge overlooks this world teeming with life.
It is indeed one of Tanzania’s most celebrated lodges, thanks to what may be Africa’s most unforgettable panorama.
At 2,300 m altitude, the terraces of Ngorongoro Crater Lodge invite quiet contemplation in a cosy setting.
For “five o’clock tea,” don’t forget your binoculars!
Outside, the ochre-toned huts resemble an elevated African village. Inside, it is all the splendour of a distinctly Victorian décor: parquet floors covered with precious rugs from Iran, Venetian chandeliers, English antiques, Louis XV armchairs, four-poster beds richly draped in moiré fabrics, and leather club chairs arranged classically around the fireplace.
The restaurant had to live up to the setting: a wooden deck, seemingly suspended above the Ngorongoro Crater.

SERENGETI
To end this journey in style, you will stay at one of the &Beyond camps located in the Serengeti, which we will recommend based on the position of the great migration.
On the programme: three exciting days of safaris in this vast park, which also holds the highest concentration of big cats in the world. The stark beauty of the Serengeti’s endless plains evokes the spellbinding world of Out of Africa.
You will spend 3 nights in an outstanding lodge or tented camp, at the heart of the Serengeti:
&BEYOND Klein’s Camp, located in the northern Serengeti, offers sweeping views over the region’s immense herds.
&BEYOND Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge, located in the west of the park, stands on the banks of the Grumeti River, which draws large numbers of animals.
&BEYOND Serengeti Under Canvas, a superb mobile tented camp, offers an experience in the closest possible contact with nature.
