The spirit of the journey

Experience a Botswana safari in a private luxury mobile camp. A rare formula combining total freedom, high-end comfort and deep immersion into the wildest territories of southern Africa.

The journey begins in the Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best-preserved game areas on the continent. Your camp is set up close to elephants, lions and leopards, for exceptionally intense 4x4 safaris. Here, the absence of mass tourism makes all the difference.

You then head to the Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, among silent channels, lagoons and wooded islands. Mokoro or boat safaris, rare bird sightings, abundant aquatic wildlife. The Okavango is a unique ecosystem, which the mobile camp allows you to explore at your own pace.

The safari concludes in Savuti, within Chobe National Park, a legendary territory renowned for its buffalo gatherings, its packs of African wild dogs and its spectacular confrontations between predators. A final stage worthy of the journey.

This private mobile camp safari in Botswana is an experience designed for those who refuse to choose between adventure and excellence. For those who wish to discover Africa under conditions that few travellers will ever have the chance to experience.

MOBILE CAMP: MOREMI

On arrival in Maun, a light aircraft flight takes you to the first stage of your Okavango Delta adventure: the Moremi Game Reserve.

Your mobile camp, discreet and unobtrusive, is set up right where the wildlife is at its most active, and awaits you for your first 3 nights.
Each journey is tailored to offer a unique and exclusive experience, whether for couples, families or friends.

The tents are dressed in elegant draping, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and refined. Every detail is carefully chosen to combine comfort and style, with premium fabrics that bring warmth and texture to the interior.
They offer modern, elegant facilities, including private bathrooms with flush toilets and hot bucket showers. The beds, made up with luxury linens, guarantee a restful night’s sleep after a day of adventure.
Handcrafted textiles and local materials create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

First stage of your safari: Moremi.
Your first morning here will be unforgettable:
Dawn spreads across the tall grass. The early light casts soft shadows where lions still prowl. The ground is soft underfoot, dense with fresh tracks. A leopard’s trail crosses that of a buffalo, a hyena slips past, the air thick with dust and wild scents.
Here, everything is alive, immediate.

The adventure continues with a private English-speaking guide and a 4×4 to explore this wild land, where every landscape and every sound carries the echo of nature in its purest form.

LODGE: OKAVANGO DELTA

Next comes the delta, with a 2-night stop at a charming lodge.
You leave the tracks behind to follow the water channels.
Aboard a mokoro or boat, or on guided walks, you will discover a calm and almost otherworldly environment.

Palm trees sway slowly, papyrus reeds tremble, and the channels reveal themselves in clear, still water.
An islet appears, with an elegant lodge set between sky and water, where you will stay for the next 2 nights.
You observe, you slow down.
Activities follow the rhythm of the river: here, a mokoro glides across the water’s surface; there, a guided walk reveals the secrets of a strangler fig.
An elephant crosses the channel without haste. A kingfisher cuts through the surface in a flash of turquoise.

Everything here is calm, suspended, precious.

Delta de l'Okavango,

Delta de l'Okavango

The Okavango, the river that never reaches the sea. A delta that gradually vanishes into the Kalahari Desert, in Botswana.
Picture an ever-shifting maze: only the most experienced guides can find their way through it.

The Okavango Delta is without doubt one of the most majestic landscapes in southern Africa, and safaris here are legendary.

Although the delta is permanent, water levels vary throughout the year. As a result, exploring this vast mosaic of river channels, lagoons, islands and floodplains is done by mokoro, motorboat, on foot or by 4x4.

Wildlife of a diversity rarely matched elsewhere reigns supreme here. The delta is home to one of the largest elephant populations in Africa, along with all the major predators.
In the dry season, it is common to see hundreds of elephants in a single day. Lions and leopards are often part of the scene, and it is not unusual to come across African wild dogs in certain parts of Moremi, Chief Island or Linyanti.

As with a masterwork, it is from a distance or from above that one truly grasps its beauty, among winding lagoons.

But come closer, quietly, without a sound…
You will discover the details that make up the richness of this work. Here, African life pulses at the water's edge.

MOBILE CAMP: SAVUTE

To close the adventure in style, a flight takes you further north, to Savuti, where gripping predator-prey encounters await.
The ground hardens once again.
Savuti.
Its name resonates like a warning, signalling a wild, uncompromising terrain.

Here, there is no half measure. White dunes, ancient rock formations, strategic and formidable lions.
Their target: elephants. The confrontation is brutal, almost mythological.

The savannah bears traces of forgotten stories. Rock paintings mark the stones, memory of the Bushmen. And in this fierce vastness, the bush camp takes on its full meaning.

A simple canvas tent, a few lanterns, and the pure emotion of a boundless sky.

This final 2-night stop in one of the wildest places on earth marks the end of an unforgettable journey, a total immersion in the raw beauty of Botswana.

Savute

Historically, the Savute Channel is something of an enigma, flowing erratically; it began flowing again in 2009, for the first time in 30 years, having previously flowed between 1950 and 1981.

The Savute region offers desert-like landscapes during the dry season. At this time, animals concentrate along the Channel. The contrast is striking with the rainy season, when the basins fill with water and the marshes are covered in lush vegetation that draws zebras and wildebeest each year during their migration. A great many bird species are also found in the region.

Unlike most of the country, Savute is not entirely flat: wide volcanic outcrops rise from the Kalahari sand, overlooking the savannah. These rocky outcrops provide shelter for species quite different from those found elsewhere in the country: small mammals, birds and plants. Ghoha Hills and the dead trees of Savuti Marsh offer unparalleled photographic opportunities. Many wildlife documentaries on Africa have in fact been filmed in the Savuti Marsh.

The savannah landscape, offering wide visibility, the large population of ungulates, the particularly fierce lion prides and the numerous hyena clans allow you to observe the often dramatic interactions between these species. With its wide open plains stretching to the horizon, Savuti Marsh is also a favoured habitat for cheetahs. It is not unusual to see African wild dogs hunting here during the rainy season.
