Helsinki archipelago: a design cabin, right at the water's edge

After your arrival in the capital, head to the archipelago and its wild islands. At the end of the path, a small cabin facing the beach within a pioneering off-grid living retreat: solar power, recycled water, natural materials. Silence, sea spray and the endless summer light set the tone for a first night out of time.

Lake Saimaa: a floating cabin, between sauna and forest

After the horizons of the sea, the itinerary reaches the land of a thousand lakes. A boat awaits you to reach a unique floating cabin, built from recycled materials, with no electricity or running water. Here, the lake, the sauna and the seasons dictate the rhythm of the days, in the spirit of an authentic Finnish way of life.

Eastern forests: the brown bear hide

The road then leads you to the wild forests of eastern Finland. At nightfall, you take your place in a hide, facing the vastness of the forest. Time stands still, the senses awaken: a crack in the woods, a shape taking form… and perhaps the long-awaited moment when a brown bear appears just a few metres away. With a bit of luck, wolves and wolverines may also show themselves, for wild fauna cannot be summoned on demand.

A private island in Lapland

To end the journey, head to a private island surrounded by lakes and forests. Comfort rises a notch: an exclusive, peaceful address to savour the final days of this great journey.

HELSINKI ARCHIPELAGO
After your arrival in the capital, head to the archipelago and its wild islands. At the end of the path, a small design cabin facing the beach, right at the water’s edge. Here, the silence, the pristine landscapes and the sea spray set the tone for the journey from the very first moment. A first night out of time, lulled by the endless light of the Finnish summer.

Cabines design off-grid face à la mer

Majamaja est un retreat pionnier dédié à l’off-grid living (vivre hors réseau), situé dans l’archipel d’Helsinki. Le projet associe architecture durable, design finlandais et immersion dans un environnement maritime préservé.
