RIO PACUARE JUNGLE LODGE
On arrival in San José, you spend one night in a charming colonial house.
The following morning, the rafting team picks you up at the hotel.
Departure for the Rio Pacuare for an unforgettable rafting descent (class IV-V), accessible to anyone aged 12 and over, with kilometers of vigorous, impetuous meanders and churning rapids. Rafting enthusiasts will encounter a route of remarkable natural beauty, winding deep into an impressive tropical rainforest.
You stay 2 nights in harmony with nature on the riverbank. The atmosphere is relaxed, the setting idyllic in the heart of the rainforest, and the accommodation very comfortable.
One day is devoted to rafting for thrills, and another is dedicated to activities of your choice offered by the lodge: mountain biking, forest hikes, a canopy tour, or a massage at the hotel for a relaxing break.

KURA DESIGN VILLAS
Heading to the Pacific, we bring you one of our favorite addresses, set in the heart of the rainforest and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Designed by an architect and a biologist, blending their visions and inspirations with a commitment to nature and art, these villas with a view offer a unique experience!
You stay 4 nights in an intimate, elegant setting.
You reach it with your rental vehicle, unless you prefer a transfer with driver.
This hotel comprises 6 secluded suites nestled between rainforest and the Pacific Ocean. Overlooking the ocean with panoramic views, the décor is minimalist, a pleasant counterpoint to the exuberance of the vegetation, in perfect harmony with the surrounding jungle. Kura Design Villas follows a strong responsible ecotourism approach.
Not far away, Marino Ballena National Park offers secluded beaches, magnificent coral reefs, and calm waters. Created to preserve the fragile marine ecosystem and the natural habitats of marine species, the park spans 110 hectares of coastline and includes 5,300 hectares of ocean.
Humpback whales regularly travel the waters of the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica from mid-May to October, and again from December to March, as they migrate to and from their feeding and mating grounds in the northern and southern hemispheres. You will also encounter dolphins.
A very large coral reef borders a small island connected to Punta Uvita, offering a spectacular diving spot with an abundance of coral, sponges, and anemones. Playa Tortuga, meanwhile, hosts Ridley sea turtles from September to October.
